My Favorite Things

Random Things I Love.

Here’s another installment of random items that I use & love right now.  This list is subject to change without warning! The list contains things from body care products to cleaners and handy gadgets.

Acure.  I really like this company and their products.  I use their shampoo, conditioner & deep root conditioner.  The deep root conditioner is the best! The moisturizing shampoo & conditioner are good, but I love the volumizing Mint shampoo & conditioner.  It wakes up your scalp and your hair!  I also really like their body lotions.

Zum.  Laundry Detergent. Natural essentials oils for fragrance, no synthetic chemicals at all.  Just a side note here, their bar soaps are amazing!  I love the lavender mint bar. Perfect for first thing in the morning.

Face Oil.  I have been using the REN BioRetinoid Oil for about a year now.  I love it.  Actually I use all of their products for my face. It is an amazing line without all of the toxic ingredients.  Everything pretty much comes in a pump so your fingers can never contaminate the product. Thus you don’t need all of the chemicals & preservatives.

Ecover Dish Soap.  I use the liquid dish soap as well as the dishwasher cubes.  This company is an amazing environmental company as well.  They have won many environmental awards for their manufacturing and buildings. Their factory is run 100% on green energy and they have a “Green” Roof.  Their roof is made of living plants to provide insulation and low electricity needs. So, you can feel good about contributing your hard earned dollars to this team.

Spry Gum.  I love the Spearmint flavor. No artificial sweeteners or gross additives and the xylitol is good for your teeth.  Made by Xclear a xylitol company.  I also use their mouthwash which is full of good for you ingredients and bonus it doesn’t burn your mouth like commercial brands.

Green & Black’s 85% Dark Chocolate.   The flavor is so intense you only need a couple of squares.  This is a good transitional food too. If you are a candy freak and are trying to kick the habit, this makes a good replacement. Then you just have to work on portion control.

Kettlebell.  I like to use this when I get up in the morning.   I only use a 10lb KB and I just do the basic swing 10 – 20 repetitions.  It is just enough to get the blood and qi flowing in the body to wake everything up. I highly recommend it, it’s basic, it’s easy and it takes like a minute! Try it. Once you get the blood & qi flowing a lot of aches and pains start to fade away.

Pullup Bar.  I recently purchased a pull up bar and I love it.  I just hang from it as I’m going in & out of rooms.  It’s like a reverse traction, as opposed to an inversion table, plus you get to work on pull ups and ab exercises if you’re so inclined.  I have the Perfect. Multi-Gym. I just leave mine up, but it’s easy to take down and requires no nailing or brackets attached to your walls. It’s made with pads that rest against your wall so it won’t destroy your paint or walls.

Prince of Peace Organic Jasmine Green Tea.  It’s basically all I drink.  It’s always chilling in the refrigerator.

Maranatha Sunflower Seed Butter.  I eat it all the time.  I use this with apples and I love it in my medjool dates as a super nutrient dense (and filling) snack.  I chose this brand in particular because most of the sunflower seed butters on the market have added sugar and this one does not.  It’s just sunflower seeds and sea salt.

If you have any questions about any of the items just leave me a comment or send me a message through the website.  Also, if you are wanting to make a healthy trade on something and need some ideas, just let me know.  Hopefully you’ll enjoy these as much as I do.
